A few months ago, an email plopped into the Folk on Foot inbox. It said,

Hi there, Folk on Foot team. Just a note to say, I'd love to be one of your guests, walking around the North York's Moors near where I now live and where I wrote my last record. Do get in touch if interested. And it was signed Olivia Cheney.

Well, we weren't just interested. We were determined to make this happen because Olivia has one of the

most enchanting and beguiling voices in the English folk scene,

and we thought the chance to walk around the North York Moors with her was too good to pass up.

So that's why we're sitting outside the Hornby Stores and Tea Room,

in the village of Hornby, with swift's dive-bomiggers from the eaves of the building

and a river running past us and the lush green hills going up in the distance

waiting to meet Olivia and we're looking forward to an amazing afternoon. I'm I'm I'm
