The house for me kind of becomes like a house of ghosts.

It becomes all the things that Junior's holding on to

and then the people for them are holding onto that you feel responsible for.

You become the custody of other people's kind of desires.

And all of that I found really fascinating,

especially up against a futuristic world,

especially what are you holding on to now?

I mean, everything's dying.

You don't actually farm it anymore.

And I guess at what point do you let go and change?

Garth Davis's thriller, Tho. The film tells the story of Hen and Jr., who farm a secluded

piece of land which has been in junior's family for generations,

but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger shows up at their door with a startling proposal.

In addition to Foe, Davis's other directorial credits include the feature film Mary Magdalene

and episodes of the series, Top of the Lake, and Love My Way.

Davis received the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in First

Time Feature Film for his 2016 film, Lion, and was nominated in the commercials category

for his U.S. Cellular Spot, Shadow Puppets.
