And for better or for worse, as we look back, we can see how some of these choices have

lasting, long-term implications that we may never have dreamed of when we were facing that fork in the road.

The account we're looking at in the life of Joshua turned out to be a huge turning point in the history of

Israel. It determined the destiny of an entire generation. And in fact, this decision resulted in the untimely deaths

of 600,000 men and their wives. And this decision determined the course of their children's lives

for the next 40 years. Huge turning point in Israel's history. It was also a significant event
