We are picking up with day five of our, the names of God devotional in the Bible app.

If you miss Saturday and Sunday's devotional, be sure to go to those because honestly,

they were fire.

If you guys want to follow along with us, and as always, I'm going to read the scripture

and then Tori's going to pick up with the Devo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is first John chapter two, verse 29.

And it says this, if you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does

what is right has been born of him.

The devotional today is a little hard to say, but I'm going to do my best.

It's titled Elohi Sadaki, God of my righteousness.

And it says, we're always looking for the next big thing, the secret to becoming organized,

the key to getting in shape, the sure flyer plan to financial stability.

We read books, listen to podcast and sign up for seminars.

And while organization, physical fitness and financial security are all worthy pursuits,

we need to make sure we're not missing the big picture when we're seeking the next big thing.

The main point of life is to follow God, to become like him and live our lives for him.
