but this is a game that they will have targeted to get three points from,

They are five points clear of City.

If they win all their games, Arsenal between now and the end of the season,

including that one at the Etihad, then they will be Premier League champions.

However, if Manchester City win all their games, including the visit of Arsenal to the Etihad,

then they will be the champions.

It is so close as we head into the final few games of this Premier League season. Six to go for Arsenal. Eight to go for Manchester City and for Southampton, who had this game in their hand for long, long period. They take just a point away for all their efforts because of that late fight back by Arsenal.

They stay bottom of the table.

They are three points from safety having played at least a game more than the teams above them.
