Happy to be joined by the Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Patrick, I think when I knew I was going to be talking to you, the one thing I was really dying to ask you is something I asked Eli Manning after he beat New England in the Super Bowl now it's eight years ago.

He made a pass in that game an absolutely perfect throw to Mario Manningham

that traveled 48 yards in the air and it looked like if there was only one place in between two patriots that the ball could go and he completed it and that was the key play in them winning the game.

And now when I think of you and I think of that Super Bowl, I think a two-three jet-chip wasp.

You know, the play that obviously everybody knows, it's third and 15,

midway through the fourth quarter, you're down by 10,

and you've got to make something happen.

I wonder now when you look back on that play, what do you remember about it?

Yeah, well it was a first on, it was a play that we had worked on

specifically for that type of defense,

not necessarily that moment, but in a third and long situation,

that we were going to try to get called or a first down situation.

We were trying to find a situation where they weren't pressuring,

where they weren't bringing anybody extra, and that was the time.

And we were able to call the play at a good time where the office line gave us good protection,

and then Tyreek ran a heck of a route where he's able to run all the way across the safety space and then back back towards the pylon.

And I just was able to put it out there far enough.

Was not as good as Eli's throw.

Eli's throw was money on the sideline there.

But I got it down there enough that we were able to change
