And the mid 19th century was a great example of an era full of hope and wonder, as men,

women, and families packed up their lives to pursue golden dreams in California.

The Gold Rush drew folks from all walks of life to the West Coast, risking their future

There was no guarantee of fortune or success, but there was a chance, a possibility, which

And once they arrived, it wasn't hard to see that possibility was everywhere.
