Lots of headaches this week, Jake, for both parties.

We've got the ballroom woes for Republicans, mass-obloated Democrats on redistricting,

Trump's push on the gas tax suspension, and a frenzy of appropriations hearings with all kinds of leaders from the Trump administration.

Yeah, most consequential, I think, for the face of Congress and what we're going to spend a lot of time talking about today's redistricting and specifically the decision at the Supreme Court that basically gutted the Voting Rights Act, which we discussed in the show before. But also in Virginia, we had the court, the Supreme Court in Virginia overturned Democrats' efforts to create a massively

Democratic map, which put a huge crimp, I would say, in Democrats' plans to run through this

election and really try to match one for one or more than one for one, the Republican redistricting

effort.

Our guest today is going to have a lot to say about all of that.
