Today we have the worst news to bring you.

But we know how invested our listeners are in Patch's journey, so we're going to share it with you.

Yeah, this is going to be a sad episode.

I, yeah, I don't even know where to start.

Well, why don't we, for everyone who hasn't been listening all along,

give a brief kind of rundown on who patches is and how we found patches.

Yeah.

So if you haven't been listening, this was the off day before opening day.

So three months ago, it was just a day where we were supposed to be getting everything

ready to, I think we're going to Denver, right?

Yeah.

And a injured morning dove showed up in our backyard and had a pretty bad gash on his wing.

And we brought him to, well, we tried to find a bunch different places but we found someone on next door

that rehabs wildlife and brought him to her and she got him all patched up thus the name patches

and said it seemed like he was ready to fly because he was flapping around in his cage.

And so we got him back.

And he's been with us for a while now.
