Hello, hello everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Fluently Fixed, where we fix you and we adjust you like a chiropractor, but for your personal life. That's kind of fun, right? Okay. Let's get into it. The first question that we have here is about somebody not being posted by their friends. She says, Shannon, my friends never post me. And if they didn't post

people at all, I wouldn't be bothered. But they always post their other friends when they're out.

And it makes me feel really low and insecure. My looks are average, not stunning, not ugly.

But last weekend when we were hanging out at the pool, my friend was taking a photo of her drink

and said out loud, trying to not get your

legs in the frame. This could be normal, but it's always happening and she posts other people.

I'm not obsessed with social media and getting likes. All of our accounts are private, but it's

the principle of it. How do I get over feeling insecure? I don't want to be desperate

enough to ask to be posted because I think that's crazy. Okay, I would also be

overthinking this. And there's so many horrible and what I say lovely, I guess it's lovely that

we've all been plagued by a variety of this problem before because there's camaraderie in the suck.

Social media is, there's so many like political

mind fields to dive into. And because it's so new, we don't really have a rulebook on

etiquette or manners around it. You know, you kind of build those rules based off of different people.

Like I want my friends to text me back within a day.

My aunt and uncle, I really don't care if they get back to me within a week. I remember in the

early millennial days, I hope some of you remember MySpace, you would have on your homepage your

top eight. And these would be like eight of your top closest friends, but you could rank

them one through eight. And sure enough, like if something happened or there was a scuffle,

you would move them around. And maybe the number two slot would go down to number seven because

they're on thin ice. And everybody would talk about how unhinged the MySpace top eight was.

But was it really?
