It's open I guess we have to start talking about the quarterback position

where Jimbo Fisher did not even put Everett Golson on the injury report this week and and yet we were hearing some different things as we told y'all in the in the see there the game preview podcast we recorded on Thursday that we had heard that Sham McGuire was the one

taking the reps with the ones and maybe that Golson wasn't even taking reps at

all once the media left practice and and we we harken back to a time against Virginia Tech in the AC title game where, hey,

Christian Ponder's fine, he's going to play and turns out, as we later knew, Christian Christian Potter didn't practice that week. They decided

on E.J. Manual on Tuesday because Ponder's elbow is messed up. But hey, they didn't

say anything and I guess it's a strategic thing there for

Florida State not to release that.

Golson apparently had concussion like symptoms.

Now, Jim Buff Fisher said that he passed the impact test, I believe it was, but that he did not, I guess he was still showing some symptoms or something.

So they were a little concern with that and held him out in favor of Sean McGuire.

This is not the first time that Florida State has been less than forthcoming about an injury

and I understand why they do it because there's no real penalty
