Welcome to another edition of Golick and Smetty.

I am Mike Golick Sr. She is Jess Smetana and Jess, wow, are we in it? Especially with football.

We certainly have other sports to talk about as well. But what a weekend of conference championship games and NFL games. It was a long weekend of a lot of football.

First off, how did your weekend go? Was it smack dab in front

of a TV all weekend? Yes, I did not get off my couch from Friday night until Sunday night. I mean,

it was a full college and NFL sports weekend, watched a little bit of basketball in there. Actually, I did get off

my couch Saturday morning to go to the Notre Dame men's basketball game at Miami, which unfortunately

was a 13-point loss. But that was the only time that I wasn't just parked in front of my TV this

weekend. So let me ask you a question. When you do that, and we all do it, and everybody has their own thing, what is your

drink of choice and snack of choice?

I mentioned this a few weeks ago.

I've gotten really into the Publix variety dips.

They've got a spinach dip, a Buffalo chicken dip.

My boyfriend gets the Publix Chicken Tender Sub, Mike, which I think you would really like if you haven't had it yet. While I was still playing for the Eagles, we had a home in Orlando. Publix was our place as well. Oh, too. And man, some of those places, they do have great food, great, you know, rotisserie chickens or delis. I mean, it's, because you have to be properly

snacked and drink wise, and you'd like to have it all around you so you don't have to get up

too much. Because with three dogs, I always end up with a dog on us. So you don't want to

disturb the dog and disturb the whole ecosystem by having to get up and all the dogs get down and think

there's somebody here and you know you've got to kind of readjust everything so right out of the
