We want to give a shout out off the top, of course, to our friend, Chad, with the legendary team, legendary team, over 600 home loans through the Nolcast. I mean, can all those folks be wrong, I guess, in theory, but probably not, right? And I feel like you guys should give a call, a 4-4 FSU loan. If you happen to need a home loan, I've used them several times, and Graham has as well, just a great operation there that Chad runs. How you guys, Ben? You want to just, you want to talk Clemson first? You want to talk recruiting first? What do you want to do?

I have never cared less about high school recruiting. Like, man, I would not spend a dime on high school recruiting right now.

If you're telling me you're going to operate this thing as a business and you don't want to fire Mike Norville because the money, like, then your goal is not to succeed.

It's just not to fail, right?

Like, we need to sell enough tickets.

We need to be just good enough to where we can kind of limp our way out of this contract to figure out if,

not if Mike's guy, but like, should Alford be the guy running this program long term?

If that's your goal, you can get there.

You can go seven and five just portaling, right?

I don't think there's any reason to think that Mike's going to be around by the time these high school kids you sign right now are going to be good because you're not signing any like real high impact type guys right now. Like losing 10 minutes to Ohio State sucks. It sucks to lose a legacy. But like why is it even like a 90-10 split? Why are you signing any high schoolers at all right now? The only reason I care about high school recruiting is under the assumption Norville's not going to be here.

I would like the cupboard to have something in it because, you know,

Timmons is a guy that could be your starting safety in 2027.

But if Norville's coming back, you probably should go all in on the portal. Like, just try to microwave it every year because we know he's not going to develop

the high school kids for the most part. We have enough history of that. And he may not even be here

by the time a Timmons gets in the starting lineup in 27 or 28 anyway. So I can see both sides. Again,

the only reason I would care is if he's not going to be here, you try to give

the next guy as many weapons as possible, but I don't know how you do that with a dead staff

out there on the trail anyways. That's my thought too. Like, I mean, clearly, like we, we bitch

about Mike's lack of high school recruiting, of effort lack of holding guys on the staff
