So it's just going to be me Bud Elliot solo.

After Florida State defeats Texas State 59 to 16.

This will probably only be about 30 minutes, but we just want to get something out quickly for you all to listen to either really late tonight or

tomorrow morning before breakfast after breakfast maybe on your drive home if you're out of town and

made a trip up to see the ball game and are driving back.

So let's get into this ball game.

5916, I think you have to come away extremely impressed with what Florida State was able to do tonight.

First of all, they cover the spread which I believe was 28 at the time of kick and they end up winning by 43 points.

Gotta see that.

Let's start with a little talk on the offense.

Everett Golson, 19 of 25 for 302 yards,

four touchdowns, importantly, 4 touchdowns. Importantly, no turnovers. He did take two sacks I believe but

overall an extremely nice night for Everett Golson. You know does this mean that Everett Golsen is going to be a superstar of Florida State?

No, not necessarily. He did in fact do a couple nice things though that I think you need to point out.

Number one, he threw the deep ball extremely well. He put multiple deep balls on guys. He threw

balls with great velocity outside the hash marks. And he really did a nice job of distributing

the football to the backs in the underneath zones and in fact if you look at this

here Mario Pender three catches Dalvin Cook one catch Freddie Stevenson one catch that's

five passes the running backs I think he only threw 13 or 14 to

receiver. So a pretty nice ratio there. Didn't make any throws that you
