Miami in a rivalry game on the road that did not look like a rivalry game.

45 to 3 in a game that to be totally honest, they could have made this much worse on the scoreboard if they'd really

wanted to invest in that but the scoreboard reflected how dominant Florida States performance was in this game.

And yeah, I mean, Florida State was just flat out disrespectful in this game to Miami on their home field on a big recruiting visit weekend.

This is one of those games where if the Mario Cristobal regime never really gets off the ground in Miami.

You can circle this game as a game that really sort of crippled

them in terms of being able to show that they could even compete. That you know you

want to show proof of concept in those first years now now granted look I don't want to get too far over my skis here because you remember two years ago Miami beat Florida State 40 by 45 or 42 points again that one was 52 to 10 and then tonight in the

first year of their coach Florida State beats them by 42. The difference is that that was a

reeling FSU team in a COVID year on the road. This is a Miami team that people thought coming into the year might be a top 10.

Some folks had this team in the playoff in the preseason and then you do that on their own home turf. Some differences here in terms

of where those programs at least thought they were coming into those years.

Everybody knew going into the in to the 20

20 season that Florida State was in a major rebuild mode.
