Hi guys, welcome back. I'm Liz Wheeler. I have a preview for you of an interview. I sat down

when I was at Natcon, I sat down with the president of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts,

which was funny because I actually recently met his daughter. I spoke at the University of Dallas

in Texas and the event was partially hosted by his daughter. So it was a funny coincidence that

I had met her a month or two ago and then I sat down and talked with her dad. He's doing great work

at the Heritage Foundation by the way. And we talked about a couple of initiatives that they're

undertaking at Heritage, including what's called the Education Freedom Report Card. What this is,

is it's a ranking system or metrics where you can gauge how free your state is when it comes to

school choice or educational freedom issues. And once you see where your state ranks compared

to other states, then there are action items, things that you can do to get involved in increasing

the freedom of education in your state. So really cool. It's a really cool tool, very nerdy, very

cool. And I made a little bit of fun of him, but really it's pretty neat. I think you'll like hearing

about it. We also talked about the fiscal blueprint that Heritage Foundation has released. This is

to counter the Democrats' accusation that, oh, Republicans are the party of no. Well, Heritage

came up with a plan of what Republicans ought to do when they take back Congress in November.

And then perhaps most importantly of all, we talked about Schumer's gay marriage bill that is

currently, well, it's currently stagnating in the Senate. They aren't going to vote on this bill

until after the midterms, perhaps thanks to the efforts of the Heritage Foundation and what all

you guys have done talking to your senators. But Kevin Roberts and I, Dr. Roberts and I talked about

how this bill in reality isn't about gay marriage. It actually targets us as people of faith. So
