As we discussed in a previous episode, Florida is rocked by the death of Walter Elias Disney.

The cartoon and movie and amusement park mogul, owned

27,000 acres in Central Florida and he bought it cheap because it was mostly swamp land underwater.

But he planned on doing something big with it.

Another large amusement park just like his one in California but bigger. A longtime friend of Disney has seen the plans and described the plan as unbelievable.

He would drain the wetlands and would clear the tannic acid that made the water black and make it blue and he'd

built a city of fun. But he died in 1966 as we discussed last episode just as he and then Governor Burns had announced plans.

The Disney people have said there can be no announcement of details about the Florida

Project until the legislature makes a decision.

Acres around the area that sold for $100 to $200,000 now sell for $5,000.

There's despair in the hearts of some of the sunshine state now.
