Yesterday Major League Baseball came to fear and lies from liberal activists.

They ignored the facts of our new election integrity law,

and they ignored the consequences of their decision on our local community.

In the middle of a pandemic, Major League Baseball put the wishes of Stacey Abrams and Joe Biden

ahead of the economic well-being of hard work in Georgians who were counting on the All-Star game for a paycheck.

That was Georgia's Republican governor, Brian Kemp, responding to the extraordinary decision by Major League Baseball

to pull this year's All-Star game out of Atlanta in response to the state's controversial new voting law.

The move by Baseball to effectively boycott the Peach State comes as major corporations,

Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Dell, and others have publicly condemned the Georgia law for restricting ballot access,

ensnaring the companies in the kind of political controversy that they usually try to ignore.

For progressives, it's a sign that companies and sports leagues are now willing to speak out

and use their muscle to stand up when fundamental rights, such as voting, are threatened.

But for Republicans like Kemp, it's the latest evidence of cancel culture and wokeness run amok.
