Hey everybody. Welcome to a special Q&A episode of the Muscle Intelligence Podcast. I'm Ben Bikolski. I live my life with the aspiration of fulfilling my soul's purpose.

I spent a lot of years as a professional bodybuilder,

chasing something outside of myself, chasing external gratification,

ultimately what evolved into escapism.

I was trying to escape my fear.

I was trying to escape my inadequacy.

I was trying to escape my emotions.. I was trying to escape my emotions.

And a lot of pain was felt. I developed a lot of great virtues, I think. I developed a lot of great

character. I developed a lot of discipline. But if someone had said to me in the beginning,

hey, if you just simply flip your frame of consciousness, you simply frame your thoughts a little bit differently.

I believe everything could have gone incredibly differently for me. I think I still could have

accomplished incredible things in muscle building, but maybe taken on a more virtuous approach

rather than a vice-driven approach. And I've talked about this a little bit in the podcast in the

past and certainly in other podcasts. But this new mission that I'm taking on within muscle building

is to empower the entire fitness industry with the concept of building virtue into your life,

building virtue into your workouts, taking on a framing of empowerment rather than victimhood.
