Summary

A couple of weeks ago, we shot a YouTube video about the history of firearms technology, with the help of Ethan Yazel from ilovemuzzleloading.com. The final video is more about freedom, gun control, and the Assault Weapon Ban of 2022 than flintlocks, but it got us a lot more interested in owning and shooting old-school weapons.

This conversation between Isaac and Ethen is a longer deep dive into the world of muzzleloaders, both old and new, and all the folks in the muzzleloading community who are working on developing a lot of more foundational skills.

Ethan because I was looking for somebody that had a wide panoply of vintage firearms for a particular

1:08.3

video, which I'm kind of crossing my fingers and just hoping that by the time

1:12.6

we launched this podcast, we have actually launched the video. There hasn't been some terrible

1:16.6

disaster. It will be launched. I can feel it. It's going to be good if you guys can watch both.

1:23.7

So we're not going to talk too much about the video in this particular podcast,

1:28.4

because, yeah, we just don't want to cover the same ground twice. But in talking about firearm
