All right. Well, welcome back to the Deepen podcast.

We are in week four, and we're going from last week.

We were just all talking about just fatherhood and all the mushy-gushy stuff of being dads.

And this week, we're talking about sexual sin. Yeah, it's really from the same perspective, quite honestly.

I mean, a part of the role that I play as the lead pastor is for sure, like a fatherly role.

And even as we look at the, I don't know if I look at Proverbs 5, 6, and 7, but the whole point there is an older guy helping a younger generation avoid sexual sin, you know,

and tonight, as I'm preaching, you know, my soon to be, by the time this comes out,

my 15-year-old daughter sitting on the front row, and I'm trying to be helpful.

Yeah, wow.

Yeah.

Reagan was on the front row with a boy, not her boyfriend. And it turns out he has a different girlfriend.

Correct.

I found out.

But she rode to church with him, and they sat together on the front row.

Yeah.

And what is it like to preach, especially on sexual sin?

I mean, truly, like, with your daughter on the front row.

I don't know if you know me well, but I don't have much of a filter in regards to preaching, so I just kind of let it ride. And she's pretty used to it. Yeah. She's honestly kind of the same way. She's got your kind of no filter. She also, I'm not saying she's perfect, but she also loves Jesus a ton and is like on our student ministry leadership team. And you know what I mean? So she, I mean, when your 15 year old daughter sitting in the front row taking notes of pastor dad preaching, I mean, give me a break. Yeah, it's also a lot of fun to watch her worship. She got that from her mama, but she's a worship her. And we sing a Gretchen song tonight too that Gretchen wrote years ago called
