who's also been acting in everything from girls to shrill, recently touring in the origin of love tour,

starring in the excellent musical podcast Anthem set to play Joe Exotic in peacock's

miniseries but once upon a time he followed up on his first feature with a film

that became a cult classic short bus premiered at the 2006

Khan Film Festival, caused a lot of stir due to its inclusion of non-simulated sex and

it's a film that explores the lives of several emotionally and sometimes socially challenged

characters navigating the sad and hilarious New York City in a post 9-11 world

and connecting in and around a modern underground salon. It's a film with

incredible sexual frankness, incredible love and compassion and empathy, and

released independently so they never had to rate it and the best part about it is

John Cameron Mitchell did not go on to direct a Marvel movie as soon as he was done.

and been around long enough that after had they got new not to just take the next shiny giant thing because I saw a lot of my

friends when they had to deal with you know when there was bigger budgets and bigger
