Hello heroes and welcome to the first episode of Campaign Flashback a new dope which is I guess what we're calling these filler episodes

I'm cat Murphy your host and typically your game master. Not this week though. This week James

Damato is running. To those completely confused as to why we're not moving on to

episode 18 here's the story. Last week I discovered that the audio files we recorded for episodes 18 to 20 were corrupted beyond repair.

I'm committed to putting out high quality shows for you, and don't intend to release episodes that don't match up with our production standards.

Which is not to say that we won't use the recorded audio at all.

There was some pretty cool stuff that went down in those three sessions.

If something like a secret archive were to exist, it would likely

house the Garbold Audio alternate universe episodes of 18, 19, and 20. That means that the guys

and I need to re-record these episodes, which is actually a pretty cool thing from a storytelling standpoint, as I now have the chance to twist the boys expectations of what's to come, and also to ramp up the combat difficulty of the encounter they played through.

If that makes it sound like we haven't recorded the makeup session yet, that's because we

haven't.

Last week I was out of town and this week the guys have improv performances to excel at.

We'll record next week and start releasing the following Wednesday.

Which brings us to this week's very special episode,

and in fact, the next two episodes after.

Since we knew we'd have a gap in the schedule, James and JPC stepped up and recorded a flashback to one of Trist Valentine's earlier adventures in life.

I haven't had the chance to hear this yet, and while I'm pretty excited to experience the show as a listener, that means I can't be able to hear this yet and while I'm pretty excited to experience the show as a listener that

means I can't really speak any further to what you're about to hear I want to

thank you all for sticking with us through our growing pains hopefully we won't run

into issues like this in the future but we'll be able to give you similar

flashbacks and side stories as bonus material.
