Now, it is kind of well known around here that I do not have a high opinion of Netflix

original movies.

Netflix TV, my God, they do almost as good of a job as HBO.

I mean, Netflix is one of the gold standards when it comes to creating shows on there.

But their original movies, nine out of ten that they put out are utter and complete garbage.

Not the few exceptions, the Irishman, for example, and there were a couple of others for sure.

But one that really caught my attention that I quite enjoyed, I think it was during the

pandemic, at least I can't remember exactly when I saw it, but was the Charlize Theron

movie old guard.

I really enjoyed our old guard, like a lot, and like, and to the point that it stuns me

how much I like it because, after all, it is indeed a Netflix original, and I loved

it.

Great time with it.

I thought the underlying mythology was good.

They kept it subtle enough.

The action was great.

Charlize Theron is gold and anything.

Well, I was very happy to hear because a lot of us suspected and heard rumors that they

were going to do a second one.

I was very, very happy to hear that they have now green lit, not only green lit, old guard

too.

They now have a shooting schedule.
