Today I want to welcome back to the show, Adam Stokes.

He has degrees in religion from Duke University and Yale Divinity School.

He is author of From Egypt to Ohio, a Semitic origin for the Giants of North America,

and the Latin scroll selections from the five Megaloth translated from the Latin

Vulgate. His work has been featured in various magazines and podcasts, and he currently teaches

high school Latin and a college course on the Old Testament. Adam, welcome back. How you doing? I'm doing good, Chris. I'm

doing good. Great to be back. Long time to see. It's great. Yeah, man. It's been a while. I think the

last time we spoke, you were speaking at our conference, the Forbidden Knowledge NewsCon. Yeah.

And we do need to, we need to do another one of those, get you back on there. That was fun. That was awesome. I we need to do another one of those get you back on

there that was that was awesome i would love to do another one of those yeah yeah it was a good time

and it's been been too long so we should put on another conference for sure a lot of really

good information i would promote that to anybody yeah oh definitely definitely they had tons

of great information and we're going to continue with that wonderful information today. We're going to be discussing your research into the hermetic tradition, as well as Edgar Casey's insights into hermetics, as well as parallels between the hermetic tradition and Mormonism. So this is going to be very

interesting. Can't wait to get into this? But since it has been a little while, remind the audience

a little bit about yourself and your work. Yes. So my work, my research is on ancient civilizations,

particularly pre-Columbian American civilization and the mound builders who built these extensive pyramid-like mounds, which in my opinion has a direct connection to Egypt and the old world all over North America. I'm also a Mormon, not Utah Lareday Saint, but from a smaller Lareday

Saint tradition. So I'm very interested in Mormon history, Mormon theology. I also,

my main occupation is that I have a high school Latin teacher. So I'm very much into the classical

and Greco-Roman world too. So Roman mythology, Greco-Roman classical and Greco-Roman world too.

So Roman mythology, Greco-Roma religion, Greco-Roman rights and practices are things that are very important to me, very interesting to me.

So as I've told others, I'm kind of a mutt.
