Today I want to discuss one of the most common technique errors I see during the squat and that is the off balance squat.

Now let's first talk about what balance looks like whenever you're lifting.

Ideally, when we squat, we want our body's center of gravity to remain over the middle

of your foot.

This means that your body is imbalance and capable of producing efficient force and power.

Depending on the type of squat you're doing, staying balance is going to change a few things

in your lift, such as your torso angle inclination, basically

how far forward your chest is angled.

So for example, with a body weight squat, our center of gravity for most people is around
