I'm talking today with Sanjeev Agruwall,

CEO and co-founder of College Feed,

a social networking site that connects college students

with potential employers. Sanjeev, thanks so much for talking with us today.

Thank you for having me, Sarah.

So I want to start by trying to shed some light on a conundrum, which is, you know, I think employers who want to hire recent college grads are finding it really hard to find them and attract them.

At the same time college grads who would like to find jobs are having a really tough time getting hired.

So why is there this mismatch and what's going on here?

Yeah that's a great question because you're right if you look at the numbers that

just doesn't seem to add up. Really the way we think about it or at least I think about it is that there are two major

aspects to this problem. One is what we all know there is indeed a skills gap so you know there aren't

now registered nurses out there you can hire there they're probably not

enough tech people you can hire but the second part of the problem is more of a

process problem in the way things have been done
