Now, a few weeks ago, I started talking on the topic of groin pain when lifting.

Two weeks ago in episode 23, the topic was hip impingement or FAAI, which stands for

femoral, acetabular impingement.

Basically, that's that deep pinching pain in the front side of your hip whenever you go

down into a deep squat.

Today, we are going to focus on treating another form of growing pain

and actually one of the most common reasons for groin pain, which is the adductor strain.

Now, let's talk about treating the adductor strain. Like we mentioned before, in the previous

one on screening, the groin pain, the adductor longest is one of the most

commonly injured muscles in your classic pulled groin. It's actually something that I've seen

recently in a lot of power lifters, especially those who use a wider stance squat or maybe

a pull sumo, is that they'll have that classic groin strain

eventually. A lot of times this injury doesn't come slowly over time like a hip flexor

injury would, but a lot of times will happen all at once. You'll feel this pop sensation
