There was an article in the Wall Street Journal talking about literacy, financial literacy and high schools.

And they spoke about this kid, Owen, who was going to go to Western Kentucky University after graduating,

but he decided instead to go to a community college and then

transfer for two years because he found out about the cost of going to college.

It's kind of funny because when we always talk about the growing cost of college,

my brother would always say, I wonder if you'd be better off just being a manager at a fast food

And it sounds like this person actually decided to do it and especially when you run the

numbers for people who can't afford it or don't understand how student loans work out.

For some people maybe that is the right choice.

So I guess this is a pretty complicated issue because it seems like some basic financial literacy
