I know that we are at the end of the holiday season celebrations and I know that nothing

says holiday celebrations like putting alfalfa sprouts in your food, but a Nebraska company

is recalling their alfalfa sprouts.

Now these sprouts are sold in three states and of course it's out of an abundance of caution.

Due to potential salmonella contamination.

Now apparently there's a cluster of gastrointestinal illnesses caused by the bacteria.

So some sprout enterprises based in a Fremont Nebraska, who doesn't love Fremont Nebraska.

It's right if you hold up if you're looking at a map of Nebraska Fremont is right there.

They announced that it is voluntarily recalling four lots of the raw alfalfa sprouts.

It's distributed 1,406 pounds of the product to five food service and grocery customers in

Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa and they have the sold by dates between December 10th of 2022

and January 7th of 2023.

So if you like me, love alfalfa sprouts, be careful, do not get these sunsprout enterprises

sell alfalfa sprouts with the sold by dates of December 10th, 2022 and January 7th, 2023

because there's potential salmonella contamination.
