What's up, guys? Welcome into another episode of the Michigan Recruiting Report and the Wolverines have done it.

Michigan has landed its biggest commit of the cycle.

And that is five-star running back.

Sabian Hyder out of Virginia.

Savian has been Michigan's top overall target throughout the recruiting cycle, much like Bryce Underwood

last cycle, even though Bryce was kind of later on in the process, whereas Heider has been

pretty much throughout the entire year. I think that Savion is of that magnitude on the same

level of landing a Bryce Underwood,

especially at a program like Michigan, which runs the ball.

And despite the fact that they added offensive coordinator, Chip Lindsay, who's set to bring

more balanced T Ann Arbor, as well as Underwood, who, you know, you landed the number one player in the

country. You're going to throw the ball a little bit more. I still think Michigan is going to have

that commitment to the run game. This offense is still going to be centered around having

talented players at the running back position. And Sabian Heider is exactly that. The number one

running back in the country, the number eight overall recruit nationally. I even think he has an

argument as the top overall recruit in the country this cycle. And I think Michigan valued him

as much. The Wolverines did everything right in this recruitment. He had a final four of Michigan,

Georgia, Ohio, state, and Tennessee, but really came down to Michigan and Tennessee late.

I think that Michigan just checked every box for him. We talked about the offense. He knows

Michigan has a history of featuring the running back position of having some

great running backs come out recently. Guys like Blake Quorum and Donovan Edwards and Hassan

Haskins, you know, especially Blake coming out of Virginia as well. I know he graduated from
