simply put Tennessee Ryan Callahan has landed a mammoth commitment

absolutely one of Tennessee's top targets in the 2025 class.

And we will call him a five-star because he currently is in the 24-7 sports composite.

Five-star quarterback George McIntyre at Brentwood Academy has committed to Tennessee.

He picks the balls over Alabama.

Not a big shock I'm sure because of the coaching change especially at Alabama recently but even

before Nick Saban left Alabama this one was trending pretty

heavily toward Tennessee behind the scenes it was not a it was not a laydown

throughout his recruitment I don't want people to get the wrong idea. This was a real battle and at times this fall, you know, they were it sounded like Alabama had momentum at times. Even at least one visit to LSU caused LSU to really get some traction with him. There were times this

looked like it really could go a few different directions, but Tennessee was as consistent with

him as anybody, made him a huge priority,

has hosted him on a number of visits.

His mother's a Tennessee graduate,

he's got a sister who's a student at Tennessee right now.

So a lot of things about this always looked like Tennessee had a great chance of landing him.

But it was a little bit harrier than people might have thought for at least a good stretch of the fall and going back into the summer and things like that.

So it is a big pickup for Tennessee and a huge win because it's a guy I think Alabama

would have loved to have before Nick Saban left and obviously, you know, once the

coaching change happened

I think it made it tougher for people to envision Alabama being the choice there
