Hello and welcome to the Fulamish podcast. My name is Sammy James. Joining me on this week's podcast is Ben Jarman, Donbett and Farrellmunk. This is the show where we offer an informal sideways look at every Fulham game as it comes and goes.

And well, Saturday was pretty decent. A five-star performance by Fulham, will it be followed by a five-star podcast tonight?

We'll wait and see. But it was a scintillating display by Fulham who blew away the championships, early pay setters, only our second win in 10, and our first win at home since

early August. And our first clean sheet away since Wiggin away nearly 10 games ago. It was an

incredible day for all of us that were there to witness it. Dom, what do you think brought

around this sudden change, or do you think this was a result in waiting, given some of our

performance in

the last few games? I think it just shows when you have every first team player fitting available

and you pick your best team, we do perform. And obviously we're going to move on to where we sort of

thought the key thing in our start and then was was to hold a midfield position. We had

Johansson and Scott McDonnell.

I thought Parker was going to play,

but you don't want to be having two holding midfielder's defensively at home.

And I think Johansson, for me,

was actually one of the best players in the game by like Sonia Luka.

He really did stand out for us, Johansson.

He seemed to bring that link in between defence and attack which was missing at the

Aston Villa game.

Great article by Jack, who's not here this week, about that kind of midfield pivot problem,

as I say, we'll come on to that.

But Ben, we got off to a good early start on Saturday, and that seems to be key, really.
