This is a wooden statement made taken from Dikari, C, Folton.

It was a blackmail 21 years of age. It's first name was spelled D-A-K-A-R-A-I.

The statement is being taken in connection with an IPD investigation into criminal homicide under case number 776, 07-3-G George.

A week after the murder of Casey Shane, Dikariya Folton was brought into a room in the headquarters of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police.

He was there to speak to Detective Alan Jones, who opened his interrogation with a string of what must have seemed to Dikariya like pretty offensive questions.

With the tape running, Dikariya began to explain what happened in the early morning hours of August 8th, when he'd spotted a black Dodge Ram pickup parked on Pennsylvania Street just north of downtown Indianapolis.

He had a black individual set there for me about a good two or three minutes. And the next thing I know, he's gone fire rang out. What did you see?

I saw the black Ram pull up to the individual stop running, sitting there running for a while. I would guess running for a while.

Seeing that same individual take a couple of steps back and unload a weapon. What do you mean by that load of weapon? Discharge the hand.

Dikariya was pretty sure he'd seen the shooter earlier that same day that he'd run into him near Pennsylvania Street.

It's pretty me how the circumstances of your running into this person.

I was just standing there, you know, saying, sitting up, getting some air. And he was walking down the dial, Pennsylvania.

And he stopped for a second and said, what's up? I told him, what's up? He was having a sin and much. And I asked him the reason for him, you know, saying carrying it, the load of black bag.

It was over his hand.
