This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the Rosary.

So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be with the youth group at St Michael, the archangel.

We're going to live the movement.

We're going to pray the rosary and have a little conversation together. So let's begin in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. It's called to mind all those that we've

promised to pray for, especially little Thomas Lauer, this five-year-old who is battling stomach cancer for little

Catherine in Omaha and also we continue to pray for the healing of Olivia Canelie.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, especially all those people that have been submitted to our prayer list.

There are literally tens of thousands of people that have been added to our prayer list.

We're offering all of our prayer and sacrifice for their deeper conversion this Lent.

Now I've been reflecting on the power of the roastery in my own life since 1991. Many people don't know where the Rosary came from.

Mary the mother of God came to St. Dominic in the fall of the year 1208 and taught him the Rosary, but not exactly the way people think.

Father Garagoul Lagrange, one of the greatest Dominican theologians,

explained Dominic's method.

He writes that at the end of the 12th century, southern France was ravaged by lies.

Lies that denied the infinite goodness and power of God by admitting a principle of evil which was often victorious.

It was at that moment that Mary appeared to St. Dominic and she gave him a new method, a kind of preaching till

that unknown which she said would be one of the most powerful weapons against future heirs and in future difficulties.

Under her inspiration, St. Dominic went into the villages and the homes of the people.

He gathered them, and then he taught them a truth of the faith.

And then had them pray in our father and 10 Hail Mary's and a glory be.
