So, Burto, I thought we would look at news, psychology news, and other kinds of things, and just kind of ramble what do you say

So the first one is on the Washington Post and it's five myths about psychology.

What are the common myths do you think that they might be listening, listing

about psychologists or psychology in general

psychology and psychology well one myth might be that when you talk to a psychologist they're

always analyzing you okay I don't think that's on the list, but yeah, that's definitely.

I get that a lot.

I've said on the podcast before that when I'm at some dinner parties with people I don't really

know and I know I'm never going to see him again. Yeah.

And they ask me what I do.

I say I work for Microsoft because no one asks a second question.

Whereas when I say I'm a therapist or a professor of psychology,

they're always like, oh oh are you analyzing me or or they'll or

they'll launch into like you know the the analogy of when you approach a doctor and like oh you know I'm experiencing this pain and

you're just trying to you know it's like okay yeah the guys like I'm joking and you're like, I'm joking.

And you're like, dude, I'm just trying to have a dinner with my family.
