Summary
The NFL world was rocked Monday night with a terrible injury to Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin, causing the postponement of a very fun NFL matchup, and causing us all to grapple with our fandom. We'll talk about that a bit to begin today's podcast, and then we'll discuss an appropriate topic: players we love. Not necessarily players we think will become superstars or major fantasy weapons...simply players who bring us joy when we watch them on film. And joy feels in short supply at the moment, so hopefully we can bring a smile to your face in a difficult time. Guest: Chris Raybon of the Action Network.

| 0:00.0 | Hey! |
| 0:06.3 | It's the Harris Football Podcast, brought to you by Draft Kings, America's top-rated daily fantasy app, with your host, Christopher Harris. |
| 0:17.0 | Hey, everybody, what is going on? Thank you so much for listening today. I hope you're doing okay |
| 0:21.8 | where you are. This is a show open that I didn't want to say and that you didn't want to hear |
| 0:28.6 | on a very silly show about stuff that doesn't matter very much anyway. We had a long Sunday of |
| 0:36.2 | NFL action and ebbs and flows and, you know, a lot of fun |
| 0:41.1 | and a lot of frustration, I'm sure. And then headed into Monday night, we had one of the most |
| 0:46.2 | anticipated games of the year, Bills at Bengals. And that game was going to set up some team to |
| 0:52.8 | have great momentum going into the |
| 0:54.4 | AFC playoffs, and obviously that's very, very important, and it was potentially going to |
| 0:59.1 | decide some fantasy football championships, and that's obviously so very important. |
| 1:04.5 | And then late first quarter, Bill's safety, Damar Hamlin, took a blow to his chest and went into cardiac arrest, and suddenly |
| 1:12.6 | none of that was important at all anymore. And suddenly, real life infringed upon this small |
| 1:19.7 | corner that we've staked out in the world. We've designed for entertainment and we've designed |
| 1:25.4 | for pretend time. So I'm recording this show the morning after, very, very early on Tuesday morning. |
| 1:33.4 | So by the time you hear this, hopefully we have great news about Damar Hamlin being okay |
| 1:37.7 | and eventually making a full recovery. |
| 1:41.8 | I am actually literally old enough to remember something similar happening to Chris |
| 1:47.1 | Pronger, who is a hockey defenseman, Hall of Fame, hockey defenseman, 1998 during a |
| 1:53.0 | playoff game. |
| 1:53.7 | I remember very clearly I was watching live, and it was scary. |
| 1:58.0 | It wasn't like this. |
