We are well and truly on the path to actual fantasy drafts that count. We have the La Liga-Labowski veteran auction coming up tomorrow, August 19th, for heaven's sake.

Blame Cousin Josh's vacation for that one.

Obviously, the preference is to wait as long as possible all the way to Labor Day weekend if you can, but sometimes you can't.

And every day that goes by from this point until the end of August we will have more

and more fantasy football drafts that count, if it could be said that any fantasy football

drafts count because fantasy football is silly.

We all know it's silly.

We pretend it's serious and we invest a lot of time and in some cases money in it.

But in the end, it's trying to predict sports, which is kind of, A, not possible.

And B, silly in its own right.

But that's okay.

It's good to pretend silly things are serious sometimes because it gives us an opportunity to connect with one another,

which is something I hope we're doing right now, feeling connected.

I know I feel connected to all of you.

That's something you do for me, tether me to the planet,

and I love you for it.

So I thought I would begin this show with a question,

what happens if you count down 10 flag players at the end? I thought I would begin this show with a question.

What happens if you count down 10 flag players at the end of one week and then kind of regret one of them by the beginning of the next week, or actually by the, frankly, beginning of the weekend?
