Really excited to share this story with you. This was a student that joined us over a year ago. I remember when he first joined, we said, hey, this is going to be a long path for you. He was at a complete non-target master's in finance program down in the southeast near in Florida. And basically his goal was, hey, I want banking, I want banking. I told him you need to go boutique. And then you have a shot at potentially laterling to a bigger shop up in New York.

And that's exactly what he did. Listen to all the work he put in here. Listen to how the mentors helped him.

A lot of work, a lot of effort. But finally, you know, making the big move into a reputable bank big bank big bulge in new york so super excited yeah we'll get to that let's go let's start from the beginning

just like where are you from you know what was the path kind of for you kind of stepping back so

um i'd love to give just people kind of that perspective, that context. Yeah, absolutely.

So for full context, I don't have the most attractive background to become a banker.

I'll dive into the beginning is I'm originally from Venezuela, so I don't really have, never really had deep connections in banking.

I went to a university in Miami, Florida International University, so, you know, the most non-targett. The most non-target you can get nothing. No, no offense. It's no offense.

No, it's a great school. And there's a lot of people actually, now that, you know, you do a little

bit of research and you figure it out, there's good connections. But banks are typically not recruiting at that school. So I did my undergrad there.

I was doing my own thing. I was trading my own portfolio and it went really well, but, you know,

not scalable. Realize there's a little bit low, a little bit of skill in that, not a real real career path.

So I wanted to shift into finance, specifically into banking.

So what I did is I started off getting my master's at Florida International University.

And then at the beginning of my master's, I started working at some Thundayda Bank.

It wasn't investment banking related.

It was more investments related.
