Amanda Barnhart has competed at the CrossFit Games for the last five years. Her best finish

is seventh. She did that twice

in 2019 and again in 2020. We talked to her about her recent decision to switch from CompTrain

to HWPO, how she has changed as an athlete during her career, balancing her desire to compete

with her desire to start a family, and what her goals are for the coming season.

Hey guys, I'm doing great. How are you?

Great. Thanks so much for doing this. First thing I think that is on everybody's mind is, you know,

you recently made the switch from Comtrain to HWPO.

Why was it time for you to make that change?

Mostly the change came from wanting to move back home to Ohio. So moving to Boston was a huge move

move for us. My husband and I are big homebodies. We were actually living away from family in Ohio,

but still fairly close. And then moving to Boston, we were just super far away from family. So
