Today on the First 15 podcast, we're hanging out with Adam Leber.

Adam is the pastor of Embrace Church in South Dakota, the host of the

Embrace Church in South Dakota, the host of the conversation podcast, and the author of a new book

called Love Has a Name. I don't know if I've ever been as both equally

convicted and encouraged like I was by Adam's examples of

loving those that are around them.

And I can't wait for you to hear his stories, so let's jump in to the conversation.

we've had in our calendar we've been especially excited for this one with you

because we've been following your podcast the conversation for a long time and

love what you do so thanks for making space to be with us.

Oh it's just a huge blessing to connect with the both of you and I'm a huge fan of what

God's doing and through First 15 as well and so truly a joy and a delight

and something I've been looking forward to myself.

know a little bit about yourself, maybe your family, your work as well as what you've been up to in this crazy year of 2020.

Yeah, so I'm born and raised a South Dakota kid, originally from the northeast part of the state, came to Christ.

I grew up in a Christian home my entire life.

So I grew up going to church and every single week, I always say I tried to fake illness each weekend and

because I just did not want to go to church struggle to connect with God My sophomore year of high school, my family switched churches and I

came in and I saw a group of people excited about Jesus for the first time in my life and each week I can remember telling my
