Hey everybody Rob mower here and today we are talking about model Y first deliveries.

Tesla has started to reach out to customers that have ordered

the Model Y performance addition and they are starting to schedule deliveries from March 15th through March 31st.

This of course fits with the guidance that Tesla shared on the Q4 earnings report that they would begin deliveries in March.

However, this is still quite ahead of schedule of the originally announced timeline of fall 2020.

The other cool thing about this is that Tesla unveiled the model Y March 14th of 2019 so almost exactly a year

Hopefully they can sneak in one delivery on the 14th to make it exactly a year from unveiling to first delivery.

So far only performance orders have been contacted, but it does seem to be a big percentage of those

performance orders, and it's not just isolated into California either. I've seen reports from Alabama, Florida, Texas,

Washington, New York, and of course California as well. And then the other noteworthy thing here is that it's not just

the earliest orders that are receiving this

imitation. We have multiple reports of people that placed their order for

Performance Model Wies this month, February of 2020, that have received this

invitation to schedule delivery.

In terms of performance orders who have not received the imitation,

the isolating factor seems to be the white interior selected as an option.

So far, all reports of this imitation are for black interiors and then of course the five seat configuration as Tesla has said that the seven seat configuration won't be available until 2021.
