If you fire a bullet from a gun straight ahead and drop a separate bullet at the same time from the same height, both bullets will hit the ground at the exact same time.

So yes I did myth busters has a whole segment on this because this is like

as theoretical physics as it gets the idea is that the horizontal plane and the vertical

plane the poles like, they're not related.

They're basically independent events happening at the same time.

Mythbusters tried this and the result was it came down to like less than 40 milliseconds which is slower that they're faster than the

human eye can even perceive so yes they fired a gun from a pistol drop the bullet hit the

ground the same time I'm just thinking about my high school

physics class because that's the last time I took physics and I'm trying to try to

decide if it's like the force or whatever you know I don't know what the

equations are anymore but like the forward force doesn't make a difference at all?
