Assalamu Alaikum, Ruhmah Tullahi Wa Barakatuh

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Alhamdulillah, wa Salatu wa Salamu Ala Abdullahi wa Rasulihi Muhammad

Wa Ala Ali, wa Ashabi Ghej Mahin

We praise Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, we thank him upon all conditions, we send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad,

O Allah, wa Sallam, his household, all his companions, we ask Allah to bless them all and to bless every single one of us.

I mean, my brothers and sisters, I'm sure we are aware of a surah in the Quran known as Ar-Rahman,

named after the most merciful.

This surah is unique, even for those who don't know the Arabic language, in that it has in it

verses that are repeated more than 30 times, exactly the same.

Which is it of the favours of your Lord? Do you deny?

Oh mankind and jinn kind, this verse is actually

referring to both mankind and jinn kind, asking them a question.

This question would require us in order to answer it to look at the gifts of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala upon us,

because indeed we cannot deny any of the favours of Allah and they are so many that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,

wa inta'uddu ni'imat Allahi lah to asulha, if you were to try and count the gifts of Allah,

the ni'am or the gifts of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala upon you, you would never be able to count all of them.

You would just count a few and that is actually a small dot compared to the entire amount of gifts

that Allah has bestowed upon us. So what is it or what is meant by this particular question,

that what is it or which is it of the favours of your Lord? Do you deny? It's simple for us to say

we don't deny any of the gifts of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala but when Allah speaks about denial of

the gifts, a question we should ask ourselves from amongst us, are we in denial of the gifts of Allah
