What's going on, everybody? Welcome into another episode of the Pack of Day podcast. I'm your host, Andy Herman. You can follow me on Twitter at Andy Herman NFL. Thanks so much for being here today. Really appreciate it. Have a fun episode lined up, going to be going through my very first mock draft of this off season. For fun, you know, just kind of seeing where things could potentially align and what things could ultimately happen and just sort of fun to, you know,

0:37.6

kind of go through that first exercise and put through the first mock draft of the season. So we'll do that in just a moment. We'll see where Green Bay ends up and those sort of things. Before we get there, had a couple updates that I wanted to go over, the first of which we had Aaron Rogers on the Pat McAfee show on Aaron Rogers Tuesday, mentioned that he's going to be doing his darkness retreat this weekend, which cool, you know, he's going to go through that and then

0:37.5

ultimately being a better headspace afterwards, according to him to be able to make this decision on what he wants to do in the future, which all well and good, right? Like that sounds good. It sounds like a decent timeline. Green Bay is smart to kind of give him that space and that time to ultimately make his decision

1:10.9

and decide what he wants to do up until this point that all kind of sounded well and good,

1:15.5

right? Like no, Roche, take your time, free agency is still a little ways away. However, on Tuesday,

1:21.7

we did have a pretty significant quarterback move. We had Derek Carr released officially from

1:26.2

the Las Vegas Raiders, which makes him

1:28.5

a free agent right now. He does not have to wait until free agency starts. He can sign with any

1:34.7

team at any given moment, and if the Jets or any other team wants to pick him up, they can do so.

1:43.1

And for the Packers, if they're potentially looking

1:45.8

at trading Aaron Rogers, this sort of changes the timeline in the calculus a little bit. Now,

1:51.9

the odds of maybe all of this coming to fruition and hitting exactly the right way, you know,

1:57.2

may vary. And your, you know, your thoughts on that. Again, your mileage may vary overall and if you think this is actually plausible or not, but I think it's still worth going over here, right? Because with Carr being able to sign with any team, let's just say that he decides, you know what? The team that really makes a lot of sense for me is the New York Jets. Well, we're kind of looking at teams that are

2:17.9

potentially interested in Aaron Rogers. If that does come to fruition, if he does want to trade

2:21.9

or if the Packers want to trade him, whatever ends up happening, you look at the Raiders and

2:26.3

the Jets is kind of the two teams that maybe make the most sense. Now, we know Carr's not going to

2:30.5

go back to the Raiders. So that one's out. But even if he would go to the Jets

2:35.5

and say, hey, I want to get this done with because I want to be all wrapped up and signed

2:40.2

before other cuts are made or other free agent money, you know, get sucked up by potential releases,

2:46.4

before free agency starts, before any draft trades take place, I want to get this done.

2:50.6

If he goes to the Jets and says, place, I want to get this done. If he goes to
