Before I bring him in, I want to read just a little paragraph here just show you what a

good writer he is. Starts off as a kid I lived in a 1920s farmhouse in the

waterfront town of Port Orchard, Washington.

The big white house sat on a hill overlooking a large grass field next to a wooded piece of

state land.

Through the years, parts of that field raised vegetables, gardens,

goats, pigs, and chickens. But more importantly, it raised children.

Born in 1970, I grew up in an era without video games when you could only get four television

channels, and cartoons only aired on Saturday mornings.
