There is so much baseball that we have to get to today that we're going to not waste any time at all.

We're going to jump straight into it here, starting with the MLB news and notes. The Baltimore Orioles announced Rudnet-Odor is day-to-day with a hand contusion. He was not in Tuesday's lineup against the nationals. We'll have to monitor his status for today. The Boston Red Sox announced Nathan Aivaldi through a live batting practice session yesterday.

We'll wait to see how that went. And Trevor's story is listed day-to-day with a heel injury. He was not in Tuesday's lineup against the Yankees. The Chicago Cubs announced Raphael Ortega suffered a fractured left ring finger during Tuesday's win over the Met and will miss the rest of the season. They also announced that Stephen Brault threw a bullpen session yesterday, and Kagan Thompson will begin a rehab assignment on Friday. Justin Steele threw a bullpen session Monday without any issue, and Nico Horner was not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets as he's dealing with a tricep injury. According to White Sox general manager Rick Hahn, Tim Anderson is resuming baseball activities and could return at some point during next week's homestand if all goes well.

The Cincinnati Reds announced that Jake Fraley is not experiencing any concussion symptoms as a result of the pitch that struck him on the head in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the pirates.

The Cleveland Guardians have announced that Aaron Savali is targeting a September

20th return against the White Sox. The Colorado Rockies do not have a timeline right now for

when Jose Iglesis will return from a thumb injury that's placed them on the 10-day injured

list. And Chris Bryant, according to manager Bud Black, shed his protective walking boot on Tuesday

as taking swings and increasing his activity in the weight
