| 0:36.4 | I intend to ask the First Minister about an Audit Scotland report |
| 0:40.3 | which was published today and which lays bear serious problems with GP care in Scotland. |
| 0:46.3 | The report makes explicit multiple recommendations, including five that should be completed by the Scottish Government within a year. |
| 0:56.9 | So will the First Minister guarantee that he will deliver on the report's recommendations? |

| 1:04.2 | First of all, may I thank Russell Finlay for his kind remarks about my dear colleague, |
| 1:09.2 | Christina McKelvey, and I appreciate his condolences to all |
| 1:14.6 | on this sad news. In relation to the question of the Audit Scotland report, obviously |
| 1:19.6 | the Audit Scotland report contains some recommendations that the Government will consider. |
| 1:26.6 | We are taking forward a series of investments |
| 1:30.3 | to strengthen the access to healthcare within Scotland. General practice is one of the areas |
| 1:37.3 | where that access is at its most critical. And the Government's investment through, for example, the Primary Care |
| 1:44.8 | Improvement Fund and other steps that have been taken to expand the workforce within general |
| 1:50.4 | practice are part of the practical steps that we're taking to address the issues in the Audit |
| 1:55.0 | Scotland report. |
