I'm Pete, joined by Mike, no darius tonight. And we just finished watching the first Lakers game of the season. If you woke up this morning and did not watch the game, you're going,

damn, Lakers lost by 30. And they did. But it was certainly a tale of two halves. Lakers were

up by five at halftime in certainly not a beautiful half of basketball, Mike, but it's one of

my favorite parts of the year is that's when we get our first impressions of a new

team. We've spent the last six months kind of theorizing about what this team would be,

what it might look like, what they might do. And this was our first impression. And I always

put some degree of value in first impressions. And so you were there.

I'm curious what it looked like on the ground.

Again, very much a tale of two halves.

The first half, Lakers are up five.

They got smoked in the second half.

We'll touch on that later as well.

But just that first little bit went on a 12 to 3 run to start the game.

And it was fun to start out.
