First Impressions versus the Truth.

That's where we are in politics in America today.

We've always been taught that first impressions are everything.

We were also taught the truth matters above all else.

Well, we're being tested as a society.

Every time the Dems gin up something that doesn't sound even real, like moving an All-Star

game over a voter ID law, we sort of laugh it off. But the first impression has been made,

Republicans are racist. Then over the course of days, the truth comes out. And we learned things

like providing the last four of your Social Security number is enough under this law, or providing a utility bill invoice, or a canceled check. So the question is, what wins? The outrageous false first impression or the truth. I've got some numbers for you. Missouri voters hit the polls this week

on a number of issues, and they voted yes to almost everything that costs money, including the

Kansas City Missouri earnings tax. This won easily in a landslide. Why do we think government can

spend our money better than us citizens? In sports, KU Athletics is in a big transition period.

We'll talk a little bit about the new athletic director, Travis Goff, and why Bill Self

would lose an assistant coach to Chris Beard and who the replacement should be. Are you a fan of rock
